ENGLISH/LANGUAGE ARTS
We are starting a new phonics program, Phonics First, which should be a lot of fun for the students. We will be reading Where the Wild Things Are, Strega Nona, and Fantastic Mr. Fox as well as doing many fun activities with these stories.
MATH
There will be math homework every night: Monday-Thursday there is a math worksheet and Friday there will be math packets. If you have any questions about the homework, look at the back of the worksheet or e-mail Ms. Gedert as soon as possible.
SCIENCE
We will be learning about scientists and the tools they use to answer questions about our world.
